Rare vintage 1950s Pinkie / Pinky Hospital Hand Puppet Doll

These Puppets were first given to children in 1956, while in the hospital, to ease their fears. They were given to children between the ages of 2 and 10.
Pinky is wearing a pink cotton gown and has two arm holes for your fingers to go in.
The face is somewhat contorted and sideways a bit, (see photos) but it still has that unique charm and vintage 1950s toy look that can not be mistaken.
The cheeks are rosy andpink. The eyes are bright blue and accented by long eye lashes.
This is a great collectible and may bring back many memories for a baby boomer you may know!
This item comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
