From the region that produced the pre-Columbian culture known as Calima. Thegold tweezers in the photo at right are representative of their work.
Mined legally (by my adventurous late uncle) in the mid to late 1960\'s.
- The weight shown above is the weight of the gold you will receive.
-The glass vial will only contain the amount of gold set out above, and will not be filled to the top.
- Natural gold does not have a fixed karat value.
- I have applied drops from a standard gold acid test kit to a sample of the gold and it was not affected (did not dissolve or change color) by either the 10K, 14K, 18K, or 22K acid mixtures.The gold you receive is from the same batch sampled.
The gold in the photos is the gold you will receive.
Gold dust to the naked eye looks a lot like sand. The old expression \"all that glitters is not gold\" is quite correct. It could also be said \"if it glitters at all, it is not gold.\" That is because gold does not glitter. If anything, it \"shines\", but even then the gleam cannot be detected when it is in the form of tiny particles. The last three pictures without the coin begin to reveal that what looks like sand, is in fact gold.
