This Type P8 compass was made by the Ontario Hughes Owens Co. LTD in Canada for the Royal Canadian Air Force. The P8 was used in the famous Spitfire of Battle of Britain fame. This compass is in great condition and the alcohol is in the compass and the needle floats freely. The locking device works as it should. The wood box is in great condition. This is a great collectible for the WWll buff or any airplane enthusiast. Selling this for my Aunt as my late Uncle had this in his collection of WWll collectibles. I will only ship to the US.
