Notes: This is in very good condition. There is a chip in the shell where it is attached to the gold base. The leaf of gold has been bent and broke the shell. The broken piece is on the right side in front, where it can be seen. Please look closely at the photos. There is a dull coating on some of the gold leaves in the stand. It seems to wipe off easily, but it is difficult to get to without moving the leaves.

This is a beautiful carved, beaded, decorated egg trinket box. The egg is hinged, and is beaded all around the edges. The top lattice is carved into the shell and is beaded afterwards. There is a pretty bouquet of flowers in the center of the top of the egg. The stand is attached to the egg and consists of several golden leaves at different angles. The front has two short chains with a small pink bead on the ends. The inside is lined with a baby pink soft fabric, with golden lace-like trim. The inside of the lid has a pink glitter on it. The bottom of the egg is signed with name and 88.

The maker, Lola McNickle, has passed away and is no longer making these gorgeous boxes. It does have the original tag that says \"Lola McNickle\" who was an egg artist in NSW Australia. It appears that she was a founder of an egg crafter\'s guild in that region. The guild continues their delicate work today.

The dimensions of this are 3\" long, 2\" wide, 2 1/2\" tall. This is very light weight, it only weighs 1.1 ounce.
