The chin area has a small tear in it (see pictures) and was partially repaired. A rip near the left temple has a rip this is repaired (can\'t see in pictures). Other small spots where stretching will cause it to rip. Please be aware you are buying a damaged, used, and flawed mask. As you use this mask, the flaws and issues will get worse. You must handle this with care, it is a hand made item and requires care. It still looks good but you must be careful with this mask or you will damage it further.

INSTRUCTIONS, INFO AND TIPS ON USING AND OWNING THIS SILICONE MASK:

This Silicone Mask, though handmade from very VERY soft silicone, will last you through decades (over 10 years) if you follow some simple, sensible steps to care for your wonderful investment.

GENERAL USE AND MAINTENANCE TIPS:

1. When unpacking the Mask, make sure there are no small particles that may have gotten inside the Mask before putting on, especially around the eye area of the Mask.

2. Always use a very generous amount of talcum powder, inside of the head and neck area. Then, shake out the residual powder. This will make the Mask glide on your head and the display head very easily, as well as reducing the stress on the mask and keeping it nice and dry.

3.When you are not using the mask always place back on the display head, This prevents the mask from rubbing against itself when laid down. It also keeps the hairstyle in tact. Again use the talcum powder on the inside of the mask. Store out of direct sunlight and harsh temperatures. (Keep out of reach of children and pets)

4. Never tug or pull on the mouth or eyeholes. These are the most sensitive parts of the mask.

5. Cleaning the mask – simply run your silicone mask under warm water and let it air dry. (Do not rub mask or use soap or cleaning chemicals)

6. Although, silicone masks are very strong never tug hard or yank on mask to avoid tearing. Even though tearing is very hard to do, anything is possible.

7. Even though the hair is sealed, DO NOT tug on hair. Just like tugging on your own hair will cause at least some hair to come out, even more so with soft silicone and hair.

8. Be gentle with the mask at all times, do not let people pull on it while you wear it, nor stretch it or carry it in a bag with other stuff. A sharp object like a pencil or keys can cut the silicone like a knife.

FAQ (FREQUENTLY ASKED class=\"p2\" style=\"margin: 0px 0px 8px; font-weight: normal; font-size: 17px; font-family: Helvetica; -webkit-text-stroke-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); -webkit-text-stroke-width: initial;\">

PUTTING THE MASK ON THE MASK:

Q. How do you put these masks on?

A. You put your hands all the way up inside the mask on either sides of the ears. Pull you hands apart to stretch the neck area (this is the tightest spot to get your head in). Slide the mask with your hands still in it over your head until you have made it past the neck. From here you just have to do some minor adjusting to get the mouth, nose, and eyes fitting/feeling good. Do not pull on hair while adjusting the mask. (If you pull the mask off the wrong way, or tug too strongly, you may rip the mouth or eye holes). Take off rings, earrings, glasses, hats and any other objects on your face or neck before putting on mask.

Q: Can I wear a hat, jewelry or necklace with the mask?

A: Yes, but you must realize the mask makes your head size larger, meaning a hat that normally fits you without the mask will not fit you with the mask. Also, be very careful placing a hat over the hair of the mask. You may unintentionally pull out hair if the hat is too small and you try to force it on your head, or take the hat off too strongly.

Q: The eyes of the mask don’t line up with my eyes perfectly. What do I do?

A: Each person’s eyes are slightly wider or narrower. For some, this will effect how the eyeholes line up with their eyes. This mask is a “one size fits most”, unfortunately and some people will not have perfectly fitting eyeholes to their eyes.

UNUSUAL SITUATIONS WITH THE MASK:

Q: This mask is very hot. I couldn’t wear it that long. What can I do about it?

A; Not much. There is no ventilation in these masks. They are just like rubber gloves on your hand. To make the mask more comfortable, use a thin runners hood similar to the Underarmor runners hoodie . This will catch the sweat from dripping in your eyes.

Q: I got in trouble for wearing this mask in stores and other public places. I thought it was supposed to pass as real in public. I don’t want the mask anymore.

A: DO NOT wear this mask on public property or in stores or the mall or drive with the mask on. This mask is only for pranks on people you know and parties at your home or places where you got permission to wear it. I am not responsible for your misuse of this mask. Use this mask in public at your own risk.

Q: I tried to put on a hat over the mask and the hat doesn’t fit the mask. What do I do?

A: The mask will increase your head size. Hats that fit you without the mask most likely will not fit you when you wear the mask. You may have to buy a large fitting hat from a store that sells large sizes just for wearing with the mask.

Q: I tried to prank someone and they saw it was a mask. I thought it was supposed to be undetectable?

A: It all depends on the person you are trying to fool. Some people have a keen eye, some don’t. The mask does fool 90% of people, the 10% that it does not just have a keen eye for the subtlest of “unusual” things. It also depends on what you wear with the mask and if your hands match the mask. There are many factors involved.

Q: I try to wear the glasses you gave me or my own glasses and they fall off or don’t reach around the ears of the mask. What do I do?

A: You may need to find glasses that have metal arms that you can bend straight, or you can buy eyeglass chains that hold the glasses to your head. The ears of the mask are larger and farther back than normal ears, making them fit glasses differently than your own ears.

GROOMING AND WEARING THE MASK:

Q. Is the hair okay to comb or style?

A. To fix the hair back into a style, just wet the hair and pat it down into place. DO NOT COMB HAIR. Just like human hair comes out when you comb it, so does the hair in this mask.

Q. I got your mask in the mail and there is some loose hair inside the mask and some on the outside, what does this mean?

A. Some of this hair is from the styling and trimming of the hair. Hair clings to silicone very easily making it hard to get off all strands of hair from the mask. Rinsing it off with water will remove most of the loose hair.

Q: I combed the hair and one or two strands fell out. I thought the hairs were sealed?

A: Just like you and me, we shed hairs. So imagine a silicone mask that has a thin piece of soft silicone glue holding it in through a millimeter of flexible soft silicone! Your skin is stronger than silicone, so hair WILL come out of silicone. Hair will come off no matter what, all you can do is spray hair spray on the hair to keep it in place. DO NOT comb the hair. Gently Smooth hair with your hand. If you don’t comb it or tug on it, no hair will come out.

Q: I put on the mask and the soft silicone glue inside is a little bumpy. Is this normal?

A: Yes, all masks with full hair and beard have silicone glue inside to seal the hair. This glue is necessary to reduce the hairs that fall out. This also can be felt sightly when the parts next to your face rub together. To make the mask more comfortable, use a thin runners hood similar to the Underarmor runners hood.

Q: The eyebrow hairs on this mask keep sticking up. What do I do?

A: Use hairspray to keep the eyebrow hairs down.

-Many flaws, slight tear in corner of mouth (very common for used masks)

-some spots with thinning hair (a little came out)

-Eyebrows are thin and some hair came out

-Hair is frizzy and hard to keep from frizzing

-Hair has special hair holding product applied to hair to keep it down and from frizzing (reason why it is stiff in some areas)

-Silicone has a split under chin that was repaired and a split on left temple that was repaired

-Some spots in beard have microscopic holes from hair punching that are stretching and will eventually tear. (The silicone in this mask is very very thin and very easy to rip compared to the last generation of masks that were made thicker)

-Some of the sealant for the hair inside is coming loose

BUYING TERMS:

QUESTION: Are those pictures of the actual item for sale?

ANSWER: The pictures shown are the actual item for sale. I try to take as many pictures as possible to show the condition of the item. \"Pictures don\'t lie\".

QUESTION: What are your goals as a seller?

ANSWER: My goal is to make every sale the best I can make it, starting with a listing with several pictures and detailed and accurate descriptions. Any issues with the item will be listed, nothing will be left out that would pose a concern to a potential buyer. (I would rather loose buyers by highlighting and emphasizing the flaws than to cover up flaws to sell the item faster).

QUESTION: Do you accept any other payment options.

ANSWER: Sorry, I only accept PAYPAL. It is the safest and the easiest way to buy or sell. (I do not do transactions outside ).

QUESTION: I can\'t pay right away after I win or buy this item, how long can you wait until I\'m ready to send payment?

ANSWER: I will re-list item after 24 or 48 hours (depending on the price of the item) if you do not complete the transaction. (However, contact me if you have a good reason for me to wait).

QUESTION: Do you accept returns for this item?

ANSWER: No, I do not accept returns for this item because it is a hand made item. It is very fragile (like any hand made item) and can easily be damaged when handled improperly and made worthless by someone who doesn’t know what they are doing or is careless, (or has more dishonest motives). People would accidentally (or carelessly) rip the mask and then want to return it so I can take the loss. Not going to happen with me. (In the rare event that a return is required, a 15% restocking fee will be applied to the refund)
