Many collectors do not realize that one form in which Baum-Maxfield Parrish MOTHER GOOSE IN PROSE appeared was as a serial. I do not know of anyone who has any part of that publication. This is an ad from that period which verifies its existence and is fascinating in itself. Rare paper ephemera can define a high-end collection.

A portion of the cereal\'s box plus 8 cents got a person Vol 1: A History of Mother Goose and Little Boy Blue
The mother bear in the ad\'s illustration is holding a copy of the hardcover of Mother Goose in Prose, so presumably the serial did not predate the publication of the book but was simply another form in which it was published.
SIZE: approx 4.25\" x 6.5\" (ad itself).
CONDITION per above:Cut from 110+ year old publication with adequate margin and predicted age toning. Corner neatly\"cut across BUT is present and available for archival repair, the kind of decision left up to the new owner. In plastic protective sleeve. Back is portion of MP Colgate ad - ouch. Consult photos. They are best indicator of what\'s being offered and are considered part of the description.
