We are pleased to offer this rare Reed & Barton sterling coffee service with tray.

In the firm\'s Far East pattern.

One of its most desired.

The identical set is displayed in the Dallas Museum of Modern Art and is illustrated in many texts on Modern design silver.

In tapering bottle form.

The set and tray adorned with delicately applied Japanese floating royal chrysanthemum. Covers with slender gourd and Japanese temple roof finial. Coffee with double scroll handle with original heat stops. Tray with original Lucite center.

Never monogrammed.

Reed & Barton Far East sterling coffee pot is 11 inches and the set weighs 41 (standard) ounces, does not include weight of the Lucite center sterling rim serving tray.

Hallmarked as shown.

In excellent condition. Rich, lustreous sterling patina throughout. Stands firm on table or museum display shelf. Mild wear.
