Great set of buttons for the reenactor! Original set of buttons were likely made for a woman\'s heavy (probably wool) jacket or coat. Made for the \'common folk\'. This striking set of six buttons are Civil War/Victorian Era china or opaque milk glass. Circa 1840\'s-60\'s. The are called bulls eyes by collectors. Rather scarce in this size.Button measures 13/16ths inch in diameter and 9/16ths inch top to bottom of the dome. Made with a sew-through shank with a thread groove. Buttons are in very good condition. Obviously worn! I leave cleaning up to the new owner\'s. What appears to be chips on the reverse is actually black paint. There are no chips. Please use the photographs as an aid with my description of the button. Also, the photographs will assist in determining condition.
