This aerometric model was in production from 1949 to around 1970. Probably the most popular pen ever designed, this 51 features a 14k gold hooded fine nib, a secure slip on/off cap and a lucite body. This pen was refurbished in U.K. by nib smith.
In the process, they disassemble the pen into its component parts and then clean, check and reassemble the pen fitting a new ink sac and the nib of your choice.I bought this pen directly from U.K..
Now this pen is Mint condition. I just inked once for nib testing and then deeply clean it. the only thing that is not original is the sac. They changed a new sac for nowadays use. Everything else is 100% original. It looks like a new pen in the picture.
It has several tiny friction traces on the section and you can see it in picture.Made in England is marked on the barrel. Original price is £175.00
