Up for sale is an antique Solid Silver Filigree Pendant / Relic that reads "S. Pius Pp. X.". It is clearly marked with early 800 continental silver marks and it has been finished with a gold wash. Most relics like this are a very common base metal or just brass but not this one!!!! As you can see the wax seal and strings are intact. It does appear though that some of the wax seal 'may' be missing. I see no clear evidence of it though having broken away, so perhaps this was the way it was actually done? I will let the viewer decide but please be aware of this when offerding. The relic is in very nice shape with typical light wear from age and handling, as pictured. As with all the items listed on the patina and condition are original. None have been cleaned! Buy with confidence, please just look at our response.
