RENSSELAER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE 10K Gold Ruby Class Ring 1957 RPI Archon SAE :
$500.00
This ring will not be relisted if it does not sell this time around, so put in your best offer.
This wonderful 1957 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute 10k yellow gold, size 7 1/2, class ring is offered here.
The ring weighs 21.4 grams and has a synthetic ruby for the stone.
Inside it has a symbol or letters and then 10k. Another depression that I
can\'t read and then an Omega symbol.
On the other side, inside, it reads ARCH. (meaning Archon) SAE (Sigma Alpha Epsilon)
and then D.L. Anderson.
The only D.L. Anderson that I could find that went to RPI is Don Lynn Anderson,
who was a famous American geophysicist. He, however, graduated from RPI in 1955.
So, unless he received the ring in 1957, after graduating, I can\'t say it was his.
I also haven\'t been able to link him to being in SAE let alone being ARCHON.
Use the zoom and ask questions if you have any.
