This fine porcelain Collie Dog Figurine,\"Champion Ashstead Applause\", was issued by the World Famous RoyalDoulton Factory of England to be the exact image ofthe reigning champion. This very realistic collie figurineis RD # HN1057 and stands an almost 8\" in height and 10\" inlength. His highgloss finish, realistic shading of the coat, and the fine attention to the many great qualities of a collie\'s specific looks make this a very impressive figurine.
PLEASE NOTE: This figurine has had extensive repairs but displays very well - if you have been trying to find this one for your collection, here\'s your chance. An unblemished one is not to be found under $700 and often goes for over $1,000. I purposely made the crack lines show in my pictures to not hide anything from interested buyers. A loose piece can be heard inside but I displayed it safely in my china cabinet with my HN1058 & 1059 and you would never have known it had been broken. I bought it this way several years ago knowing someone cried very hard when they broke it, but they had meticulously put it back together so it would display nicely. I took a chance and was very happy with it. I found a more expensive unbroken replacement, but I felt lucky to find this one in the interim. I hope this hard to find figurine will find another caring home with a safe place to show it off and appreciate the quality of this piece even with crack lines. Please do not ask for a lower offer, I am in no hurry to sell him.Selling \"AS IS\". Returns are accepted only if I have grossly misrepresented the item.
