This precious Lladro porcelain figurineis titled, “Tenderness”, and was issued in 1978 and retired in 2001. It measures approximately 8 1/4” in heightand 4 ¾” in width and features a darling little girl hugging a cute littlebunny. This Lladro figurine has an uncommon finish called, “Gres”, that isunique in texture and surface appearance.Although it has the look of stoneware or pottery it is porcelain that hasan earthy terra-toned pigment. SalvadorDebon designed this adorable sculpture (#2094) with its intricate hand-painteddetails and soft hues of gray, white, brown, tan and blue. It is stamped on the base with the Lladrocobalt blue mark that reads, “Lladro Hand Made in Spain – Daisa 1978”,including incised markings and the famous blue Lladro bell flower symbol.Despite no original box, this delightful Lladro figurine is in mint conditionwith no chips, cracks, discolorations or any other evidence of damage. Itis an exceptional porcelain figurine, a real treasure for collectors of Lladroor any fine porcelain collection and a beautiful Easter decoration.
