This is a lovely set of Royal Doulton china, service for9plus extra pieces and padded zippered pouches for safe storage.

All of the pieces are marked in green with the Royal Doulton Crown Lion, Made in England, Royal Doulton, English Fine Bone China, CANTERBURY, H 4965, Copyright, Royal Doulton & Co. Limited.

The pattern consists of finely detailed burgundy, tan, purple and dark & light teal leaves with gold band on the outer edge. The plates and cups are also fluted. The china is sparkling white.

The set consists of:

10 Dinner plates - 10 1/2\".
10 Salad plates - 8\".
9 Bread & Butter plates - 6 1/2\"
9 Saucers - 6\"
9 Cups - 4\" diameter at the top by 2 3/4\" tall by 4 3/4\" from handle to end.

All of the pieces are in mint condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or utensil marks.

They were given to me in the early 60\'s as wedding gifts. The pattern has been retired.

This is a wonderful opportunity to have a beautiful dinnerware service of Royal Doulton Fine Bone China. It will be outstanding on display.
