Typed thank-you letter from Richard M. Nixon. Hand-signed in blue ink with full name.
Dates from August of 1960. Relates to his first campaign forPresident of the United States.

This is attached to a copy of the original letter written and saved by John Doranwho evidently had some advice forNixon\'s upcoming campaign. Doran was a veteran of WWII, and served with the 2nd Armored Division. He was concerned with supposed abuses of unionized workers at a Douglas Factoryand its effect on defense spendingthrough government overbilling.
