Offered with a low opening offer and is this older Ridgways Tepper, England, plate decorated in red (some collectors refer to this color as pink) transfer. The plate has the word Matzoh in Hebrew in the center and around the rim are Hebrew and English phrases detailing the order of Seder and images from the Passover Haggadah. The plate’s diameter is approx. 9 ¾ in. and it is about 1 in. tall.

The mark on the underside is a Ridgways mark with a registration mark in the center and the words Bardiger London above it and a bit below, Tepper London. In addition, there is an ink stamped number 21 and impressed into the clay the number 12 above what we’re fairly sure is the number 23.

Condition is very good, with no chips or cracks. There is some widely spaced crazing on the front center part of the plate. The large Hebrew letters in the center show a bit of white; this appears to be due to the manufacturing process rather than wear. The remainder of the decoration is in excellent condition.

We pack all items very carefully, doing all that we can to ensure that your item is safely delivered. We are happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases when we can but for some large or fragile items, this may not be possible.

We do not ship to Italy. With only a few exceptions, we only ship Express Mail International with tracking and full insurance. We declare the full value of items for customs and only ship to the address listed on the buyer’s PayPal account. We cannot ship to family or friends in the U.S. if their address is not a valid shipping address listed on your PayPal account

We only accept returns if we’ve made a major mistake in describing an item. If such a problem arises, please let us know if we have overlooked something that is an issue for you. Shipping is not refundable and we can’t provide refunds from our own pocket for damage that occurred while shipping but we will assist you in filing a claim in any way that we can.
