This sale is for a print of "Sunken Ship" painted by Javier Carbajales. This one was signed and numbered in November of 2001 while I was visiting their wonderful studio.

It is quite large, measuring 20 inches by 24 inches. I've included a picture of it next to the smaller 11x14 prints for size comparison/

It is number 10/300 andcomes with the certificate of authentication. signed and numbered by me. In a separate sale you will have the chance to also get the "Ship Sails" print, also numbered 10/300.

I'm also offering four prints signed by Javier Carbajales on that same trip so look for them now as they are listed this week as well.

The Classic Collection of Artesania Rinconada was designed by Jesus & Javier Carbajales, twin brothers who were born in Spain in 1930. They moved to Uruguay in 1936 when the Spanish Civil War disrupted their childhood. They never forgot their artistic roots and began designing small clay figures in a small corner of their home.
