MAKER: Robertson-Hollywood Pottery
DESCRIPTION: This listing is for a Robertson-Hollywood #200 Flask Vase with its oblong profile and crimped figure 8 rim. R-H was the culmination of a long and distinguished pottery dynasty that began in the UK in the mid 19th century. It was founded by brothers Fred & George Robertson in North Hollywood in 1934. Sometime prior to its closing in 1952, the pottery moved to a larger facility located directly across from the famous Hollywood Bowl. The exquisitely crackled Persian Turquoise on this vase was one of the signature glazes of the business.

DIMENSIONS: A tad under 5\" in height
MARKS: Marked as shown
CONDITION: Excellent overall. No serious issues. A barely visible, very short hairline exists at the widest point on the rim.

There basically are 2 USPS shipping options for packages. The cheaper option is Parcel Select (Economy Shipping) which can be half the cost of Priority Mail, the other option. Priority Mail (Expedited Shipping) is much faster & safer and includes limited insurance coverage. For long distance shipping, I feel that Priority Mail is definitely the better choice. The actual cost of these options is determined by 3 things: package weight & size and the destination (or distance from the seller.) When listing, I generally select Priority Mail. If you prefer Parcel Select, it’s not a problem. The reverse is also true. In either case, I’ll need to know your shipping preference before a purchase is made or immediately after an sale ends because an amended invoice will have to be sent to you.
