A beautiful slab of Reyes agate from Mexico measuring approx. 3\" x 1.5\" and 6.7 mm thick showing a red/gold plume on a black/gray matrix that has been formed within the stalactites that occupy the voids in the vein material. Old stock material that was located near the famous \"cathedral deposits\", it produces similar type material but in narrower and darker veins. Will make for unique finished pieces. Flaws are shown as white lines in the final picture frame. Not polished. Shown wet. Weight = 39 grams. Reyes Agate Reyes Agate
