Listed items will not be marked down during the listing duration.Rosemary was Rockford Silver Company\'s Art Nouveau rose pattern, first produced in 1906. The design is of roses spilling along the handle. Rockford produced exclusively for sales through jewelry stores. The fish serving set consists of two pieces: a fork and a long wide blade called the fish slice. The fish slice is meant to lift pieces of fish up and transport them to a plate. The fork serves to slide the piece on and off the slice. Slices usually have a swagged or pointed end which is used to probe for bones and other problems. Generally one side is somewhat raised to prevent the fish from slipping off.The fish serving fork offered here measures about 8 7/8”. This is not a piece of new silver. It shows the patina of as much as 110 years of careful use. There are the light scratches which constitute normal patina. There is no monogram. Silver is softly lustrous. There is a tiny bit of silver loss on the front of one of the tines. The pattern is crisp and clear. This piece has been carefully used and well cared for.I polish all silver before listing on .
