A beautiful Rolex 1803 from approximately 1973. Reddish patina on gold due to having never been polished or buffed. Original President bracelet is not stretched, twisted, scratched or otherwise damaged.
Original crystal and perfect original dial. Note: The dial is a light gold color whereas my photos tend to make it look white.
There are a many Presidents out there and even the earliest version, the 1803, is common. The thing is: 99 out of 100 of them are worn, stretched bracelets, damaged, modified. They\'ve been sanded, polished and buffed up pretty. Many have non-Rolex bling stuff added (dials, bezels and even diamond settings brazed right onto the watch) and still others have entirely fake \"aftermarket\" bracelets.
Rolex Presidents are finally starting to make their mark at the big sale houses. Rare original Rolex-furnished enhancements and rare condition is what is being paid for (which absolutely does not include the 99 described above).
I\'m a collector and wouldn\'t buy anything but the rarest of condition in a vintage President.
