Roman Late Republican Pugio (Oberaden) Based on the Oberadun Pugio from Bishop and Coulston P.56 (fig. 5). We have added a titelberger style sheath with a simplerand different tip and three attachment points for vertical or horizontal wear. Pugio is polished iron and the scabbard is a beautiful red leather and brass with decor in the Titelberg style. This is oursecond iteration of this new Pugio! Blade is 8 7/8\" long and 2 inches at its wasp waist. Handle is solid brass plates over the steel. No ricasso. Shipped unsharpened. Mild steel blade will take an keep a good edge. Brass edging is decorated and very solidly attached. Beautiful reenactor grade Pugio.
