With regard to this item, the Ronson DeLuxe in beautiful gold plate and tortoise enamel. It has a golden inner glow to the paint that can only be described as stunning. True art deco design on a stepped oval base. First made in 1938, a Ronson ad states, \"A smart, modern, convenient table appointment. Among the fine finishes is a gold plated model, the last word in useful elegance.\" Very few nicks and chips considering it\'s age. Please examine my photos carefully. The mechanism seems to work properly. The wand is the original gold plated item, not some brass replacement stick that will never match. Weight is approx. 1 lb. 3 oz. Dimensions are approx. 3.25\"L X 2.75\"W X 4\"H
