About Us

To use the word “business” to describe what we do is not accurate because selling china has been a hobby and labor of love. We have been collecting, trading and buying china pieces for years and only recently started selling some of the collection on . Most everything we have bought and sell are things we like and if we had the room we would probably keep it all.

We are a small family operation, just my wife and me. We don’t have a big building, any employees or depend on china sales for an income (thankfully). We are not china experts but we do know a little bit about china. I do appreciate e-mails from sellers and buyers to set me straight occasionally on our listings and provide us with interesting information. Collecting china is a life long education.

The Not So Small Print

We treat everyone with honestly and respect and we expect the same from our customers. If you have a complaint or question please allow us a couple days to respond. We are not a 24x7 operation and we do go on weekend dates on occasion. Read some of the comments from our customers. We treat everyone fairly.

I have worked in the small package delivery industry for nearly 20 years so I know how to pack items very well. But if something does happen to break during shipping all we ask is that you send us pictures of the broken item and packaging so we can file an insurance claim. We will then promptly refund the money you paid or replace the item, your choice.

We are not going to go into all the rules and regulations as most of them are just common sense or nonsense anyway.

Shipping

Shipping rates are sometimes tricky to estimate due to the nature of the combination of items being shipped. We do combine items when possible. For instance we would not ship a heavy weight item in the same box with a set of Limoges china cups. We also keep in mind actual weight and dimensional weight to save you the most money. We are not in the business of making money by over charging for shipping nor do we submit insurance claims for preventable damages. We ship 99% of everything we sell USPS Priority. Slower delivery levels of service are not usually that much cheaper and result in more breakage.

Finally thankfully we don’t work for the USPS and we are not delivering your package so feel free to get mad at your neighborhood postal carrier if your delivery is later than expected. We do our best to ship everything the same or next business day.

Buy it Now customers must first add items to their shopping cart to purchase multiple items with a single payment. If for any reason you screw it up and are overcharged for shipping I will notify you of the refunded difference to your PayPal account…. really.
