This is the charming blue and whiteporcelain Royal Copenhagen Christmas plate for 2011, called Waiting for SantaClaus.

The design appears in relief and theplate is hand decorated in rich blue and white under glaze colors.Thetheme for this year was created by the renowned artist Sven Vestergaard.

The plate is number 104 in theseries which has been issued since 1908.

At the end of each year when theseplates are made, the master mold is destroyed, making it impossible toreproduce the design again, and making this a truly limited edition.

Appropriately marked on the back, including thethree wavy line trademark of Royal Copenhagen.
