Here\'s a VERY RARE Monumental-SizedRoyal Doulton, ART NOUVEAU Vase that was probably once one of a pair (use for today\'s UMBRELLA STAND). I only have the one, but it is infabulous condition -- I would say MINT. I love thestylized blue flowers against a wonderful mottled-dark blue glazed ground, all done in tube-lined glazes with swags and dots connecting the Flowers near the bottom. When I first saw this magnificient piece, I thought it was Moorcroft, as the Doulton Lambeth stoneware in Art Nouveau or Sucessionist style was not known to me at that time. Now, I\'m a real fan!

It is well marked, beginning with the impressed Royal Doulton Crown w/Lion atop logo as found on Kovels page 10a. It is also impressed with: 6966, BB4W and GS. And signed by etching: RS or RB. I have not determined the artist(s) and help would be appreciated. The last photo (showing only the blue glaze) shows a tiny glaze \"miss\" on the left side, where the white stoneware was not covered well during the making. It in no way detracts.
Measures 19-3/4 inches tall. The base is 8-5/8 inches wide and the Flared top edge is 10 inches wide. It weighs about 13-1/2 pounds without packaging.
