This is a Royal Doulton model of an Airedale Terrier dog HN 1024 which stands 4 inches high and measures 5 inches long. This Airedale Terrier CH. "Cotsford Topsail" is the small size designed by Frederick Daws and withdrawn from production by 1968. Underneath on one paw you can see the Royal Doulton trademark in green and on another the HN 1024 number. The condition is good - there are no cracks, nicks, damage or repairs to be found and the colours are bright and crisp. For accuracy in my description I will point out that there is a very tiny loss / scratch to the black glaze to one side of the dog but nothing to serious or detracts in any way.
