Details:This sale is for the rare Antique Royal Doulton BLUECHILDREN series vase madein England in 1890s. The BLUE CHILDREN series were introduced in the 1890 anddiscontinued by 1930. This vase is from the earlier 1890s.
The vaseis beautifully designed and hand painted in cobalt blue. The scene depicts abeautiful landscape with two lovely children looking into a tree hole.
THIS ROYALDOULTON BLUE CHILDREN VASE HAS A VERY RARE SHAPE!
The vase has is marked ROYALDOULTON FLAMBE on the bottom. This mark is a special Royal Doulton mark, thatappears on EARLIER FLAMBE WARES.
Measurements:The vase measures approx. 5.5\" tall and 4\" wide.
Condition:The Antique Royal Doulton BLUE CHILDREN Vase is in very good condition, no cracksor dings. There are few dull spots to the glaze just underneath the childrenwhich seem to be a production imperfection (please check the photographs).
