Beautiful antique Royal Doulton ceramic ink stand. Round, deep blue ceramic with brown base and raised floral design incorporating grey, blue, and brown. There is one small mark that appears in the photos to be a chip, but as it\'s smooth and glazed over was more likely a flaw in the design.
Intended to be used as an inkstand, this interesting piece has two holes for holding pens, and a round area in the centre designed to hold a small pot of ink.
The Royal Doulton England logo is impressed into the bottom along with the numbers/letters BB5, gs, and 7033
This wonderful piece measures about 4 3/4\" across and stands approx 2\" tall. Aside from the small \"flaw\" mentioned above, this is in very good condition. Lovely, interesting piece - we tried to find another but had no luck.
