Up for sale is this very nicelargel character jug depicting Desperate Dan a character from the British comic books \"Dandy\" or perhaps \"Beano\". It is one of the four that were done in the Characters from the Beano and the Dandy series and was made in the large and small size. The jug has backstamp \"B\" as shown in the fifth photograph in the listing. This makes this jug a un-numbered limited edition in the sense that this back stamp was only applied during the year 1998 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the comic book series. This back stamp is not common in the U.S. market.

I have other jugs from this series currently listed so be sure to check out my other listings! I will combine shipping for multiple purchases.

The jug is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. It stands4\" tall and was issued from only 1995 to 1999 in all variations.

Items shipped to Florida addresses require payment of 6% state sales tax.

I will only ship to /paypal verified addresses in the United States and I usually use USPS priority mail for shipping due to problems with lower rate packages being damaged in transit. I know that may cost slightly more but it avoids loss and the hassle of filing claims and returned shipping costs, etc.

Normally I do not accept returned items but if an item is damaged or the buyer doesn\'t like the item for some reason and the buyer requires a refund then I may want the item be returned to me at the buyers expense or if damaged offer to settle for the cost of the item minus the shipping. This is because the insurance offers at checkout only cover the item cost and not the shipping. I pack well and have not had but a few problems where the PO decided to run over the box(or do who knows what else to it!).
