ROYAL DOULTON figurine - THE CLOWN- HN 2890 - 1978 - in perfect condition. Above - a seller is given two choices for CONDITION when listing - either NEW (which this isn\'t though there are no issues with this clown and it is perfect) or USED - which would mean to me \"worn\" or \"aged\" , This is vintage and in like new condition.,
He stands on one foot - and a large foot at that - over 9\" tall - with his oversized bright yellow jacket with big black buttons - and his tuxedo shirt like no other - white with big yellow polka dots. His black hat is adorned with a flower and holds his \"bouffant\" hair in place. His make-up - well, let\'s put it this way - he needs Bobby Brown\'s help! A little too much eye make-up and too much white matte - but then again - he\'s not a beauty queen! His handkerchief is coming out of his pocket though he\'s not aware - because he;s getting ready for that pie in the face to an unexpecting friend.Behind him sits his bucket filled with ? whipped cream?
Doesn\'t every body love a clown?
Please note how clean the bottom is - there are no scuff marks as pads had been added to preserve this figurine. Beautiful! You won\'t be disappointed. I hope he finds a new home.
