Painted by Ada Fimister. The date of production on this figurine was from 1925-1952. Rich Coloring. Impressed #457 on base.

About designer: Arthur “Leslie” Harradine worked early in his career under George Tinsworth, working on Lambeth vases. However, he always craved to create free standing figurines. He moved with his brother to Canada to start a farm but came back to fight in World War I, during which time he was injured. While recuperating, he met with Doulton art director Charles Noke, and was hired on as a freelance artist designing the first figurines for Royal Doulton.

Measurements: 7 5/8” tall. Condition: Outstanding. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs.
