Royal Doulton Series D3395, first introduced in 1911 and withdrawn in 1932 - - be careful, this series was briefly re-introduced in the \'90\'s as reproductions!! This is the original series and the piece is about 90 - 100 years old.

The scenes are \"Three golfers, one about to putt\", \"Golfer reading, caddy beside\" and \"Golfer about to putt\". The sayings, going all the way around the piece are \"Every dog has his day and every man his hour\" and \"Give losers leave to speak and winners to laugh\".

This Jardiniere is almost 9\" tall and a bit over 10\" at it\'s widest.

Beautiful colors in greens and browns.
