Royal Doulton Series Ware Plate
Pattern - Kensington GardensBackstamp - Green Mark Introduced in 1903Condition - There are no chips or cracks, some minor crazing as is teh cast with virtually all Royal Doulton from this era. There is a rough spot on the rim that is hard to see. I found it when running my finger on the rim checking for damage. I believe it to be a factory made kiln bubble and not a break.
The Royal Doulton Kensington Gardens plate is 7.5 inches in diameter and is a pale tan or cream color with a black deco style flower pattern around the edge. The center has a terrific fox hunting silhouette with 3 dogs on the scent and 3 riders on the hunt with the pack master cracking his whip.
