A superb Royal Doulton Lambeth Art Nouveau vase by Eliza Simmance. The vase stands on a rounded foot with the main body broadening at the shoulders before giving way to a narrow neck and flared rim. The vase has six panels of incised and stylized foliate designs with each panel slightly overlapping the other, there are applied beads to the sides of the panels and this is all set aginst a buff ground with the main decoration highlighted in green and blue.
To the base is the impressed Royal Doulton Lion & Crown mark along with the impressed date code - 1910. Also present is the incised mark for the senior artist Eliza Simmance and various assistants. A fine piece demonstrating the versatility of this much sought after artist.

Condition

The vase comes in good antique condition without chips cracks or restoration - mentioned for complete accuracy is a small burst glaze bubble to the foot of the vase (shown in photo 5) . An opportunity for the discerning collector to own a fine piece by a sought after artist.
