Item Description:
Wonderful Royal Doulton Lambeth art pottery vase. Classical form vase has a subtly dimpled texture to the surface, with a matte finish. The body is covered in an applied floral motif with a charming little pair of sculpted mice standing opposite each other on the shoulder. This wonderful piece appears to be the work of George Tinworth (1843 - 1913), although it does not bear his monogram. The base has Impressed Royal Doulton mark as well as incised and painted artist initials. George Tinworth humoresque Condition:Good vintage condition overall; Evidence of professional restoration to the rim and little firing cracks at the feet of the mice.
