Royal Doulton Lambeth Harvest-ware beaker, 12cm, silver rim hallmarked Chester 1917This classic beaker is from the Harvest-ware range, being two-tone brown and tan and decorated with applied cream-coloured figures and a frieze around the base showing a rider and dogs in pursuit of a stag. It has a sterling silver rim, hallmarked for Robert Pringle & Sons, Chester 1917. On the base it has the Royal Doulton Lambeth mark that was used between 1902-22 (see plus the numbers 102-92 and 4867 (possibly shape numbers) and the letters hd (the artist\'s mark, possibly E Violet Hayward - It measures approx 12.0cm (4.7 inches) high and 7.6cm (3 inches) in diameter at the rim, and weighs approx 257g. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or other damage. Any white marks visible in the photos are just reflections of the flash due to my inexpert photography! Please check the photos carefully, as they form part of this description.A great collector\'s piece!
