Royal Doulton Lord Nelson Large D6336 Toby Mug COPR 1951Horatio Nelson (1758-1805), a member of the navy since the age of 12, was made commander-in-chief of his own fleet in 1803. He saw action in the West Indies and in Canada, but is best remembered for his defeat of the French and Spanish navies at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. Nelson died during the battle.
