Thisearthenwarecake plateisfrom Royal Doulton and is one of the many variations to theirhandpainted wares. The pattern isMagnella, which shows hand painted flowers on a mottled background. The colours are still lovely and bright. This design was produced in the 1940\'s.
Condition is excellent for a vintage item, no discolouration, chips, cracks. Some minor crazing commensurate for age. I have included a close up of the plate edge which shows a teeny spot of the brown colour missing, under the glaze. It isfrom themanufacturingprocess and not considered as damage.
These lovely vintage items arehighly sought afterby collectors.
