- I married into a great British family and I am selling a great British duck! This male duck is stamped by Royal Doulton and is described as \"A Wildfowl Counterfeit by Lem Ward, HN 3512\". My husband explained that Lem Ward is a famous British bird carver, whose works sell for thousands of pounds. Royal Doulton made a china copy of one of Lem Ward\'s carvings. This duck is lovely, measuring 8\" beak to tail, and 3.25\" at its widest part. There is a mark made in the china \"2614\". There is faint and minimal age marks on each bottom side, which you can examine in the last 2 photos. It will provide a lovely accent to your home or as an addition to your collection. Royal Doulton has been making fine tableware, homeware and gifts since 1815. Each piece is highly collectible. This duck has no chips or cracks, in wonderful condition, but it does not come with the original box.
