Thisis a SUPER rare Royal Doulton/Noke match striker. I believe this is a Holbein glaze which was usedin the late 1800’s early 1900\'s. This match strikerwould date from around that time. The heads of this match striker was lateradapted by Noke on the Mephistopheles two headed characters jug. The center was meantto hold matches which are struck on the rough place on the head. There is anearly RDoulton mark at the base. RD NO 294065 Striker is good condition for age
