Prudence HN1883 Royal Doulton Figurine Prudence a Rareand early edition (1941)figurine dressed in blue seated on a bench, holding on to her floral blue shawl.

Issued: 1938 retired 1949.
She was produce in 1941 see back stamp
A date coding system which was introduced in the late 1920s.
The coding was very simple and it is the only way of being sure of a figure\'s exact year of manufacture.
The coding consisted of a numeral being printed beside the Royal Doulton back-stamp.
By adding this number to the base year 1927, then the year of manufacture can be obtained.
Height: 6-3/4\" (17.2 cm) Tall
Hand Painted and Made in England from fine bone china
