LOVING CUPRobin Hood is a legendary heroic outlaw originally depicted in English folklore and subsequently
featured in literature and film. According to legend, he was a highly skilled archerand
swordsman. In some versions of the legend he is depicted as being of noblebirth,
and having fought in the Crusades before returning to England to findhis lands
have been taken by the Sheriff. In other versions this is not the caseand he
isinstead born into the yeoman class. Traditionally depicteddressed in
Lincoln green, he is said to have robbedfrom the
rich and given to the poor.

The Loving Cup is highly detailed with beautifully embossed scenes of Robin Hood
and his merry men in Sherwood Forest. The front depicts Robin shooting a bow
and arrow with friends Alan-a-Dale, Will Scarlet and Friar Tuck; the reverse
