Dachshunds are sweet, lovable and affectionate... and ruthless killers of rats and other vermin. Here is a little fellow sitting with his ears perked up just a bit. What do you think he hears? He\'ll be off in an explosion of energy and barking before you know it.
The figure is lovely. It has the most beautiful color - deep rich chestnuts and dark mustards, accented by just a touch of black on the ears and snout.. perfect red coloring. Doxies come in many different coat colors, and I love them all! I could not find any defects on this piece. I looked hard, but all I could see was one tiny misplaced brush stroke on the chest. I realize this is microscopic scrutiny, but I try to keep my customers happy. Well most of them - there are those who will never be happy no matter what you do.
