This 2 piece sale of antique Royal Doulton Canterbury Pilgrims Teapot and sugar bowl have been in storage for many years. I️ have not cleaned either item due to the age and condition of both pieces.

The Teapot is in fairly good shape. It has obvious crazing inside and out and a crack on the bottom of the pot that can be seen on the inside of the pot. The crack cannot be felt on the bottom. There is also a couple of little spots on the spout that feel rough and tiny spots of paint are missing. You don’t really notice it unless you run your finger across it and then it feels like a little rough spot. The handle and base of pot also have a couple of rough spots similar to what I described for the spout. The lid is in good shape with some paint rubbed off on the edge and a small brown spot that I️ feel will come off once cleaned properly. The colors and pattern of the pot are lovely and will be a nice addition to your collection.

The sugar bowl obviously has a handle missing which is a shame considering that the rest of the bowl is in pretty good shape. There is light crazing and a few rough spots on the handle, but no cracks elsewhere. The bowl also needs a cleaning so there is some obvious grime in the pictures. The lid is in good shape. Color and pattern is also in fairly good shape - maybe a smidge less vibrant than the Teapot. Please see my many pictures for more details.
