Offered for sale is a rare, hard to find, Royal Doulton Series Ware Plate. I have searched everywhere and can find no information on this plate. The backstamp was used from 1902-1922. Model # is D2024, written on the back of the plate. The subject matter is fabulous! It shows a little boy holding a large straw hat. He is looking at a pen full of pigs / piglets. There are houses in the background. The plate measures 10 1/2\" diameter. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks and fine underglaze crazing as is appropriate. I\'m sure someone out there knows what this it titled and will consider it a rare and wonderful addition to their collection!I have also listed another rare Royal Doulton Series Ware Plate in the Motoring / Motorist Series titled \"Itch Yer On Guvenor?\".
