This item is a highly decorative large jug or pitcher made by Royal Doulton from the rare and highly saught after Welsh Ladies series. Condition Report
Very good previously owned condition, there are no chips or cracks and nor is there any evidence of restoration. The decoration is in excellent order, being very bright and vibrant, there is some light crazing to the base and on very close examination there are also a few lines within the decorated area. In addition my pictures show two small areas of fault, the curved nature of which suggests firing cracks produced during manufacture. One is 2cm long and the other 1.5cm, both are feint. There is also a small area, 2ml across, of glaze loss due to a pointed impact, see picture 6.
Dimensions
The jug has a base diameter of 5\"/13cm, it measures 6.25\"/16cm from handle to spout and it stands 6.75\"/17cm high. The unpacked weight of this item is 1.1kg.Postage/Shipping
