Description

For saleisa superb hand painted cabinet plate produced by the Royal Doulton factory in Stoke on Trent, England.

The item is exquisitely painted by the artist Arthur Perry and features a leaping salmon fighting valiantly to reach it\'s spawning ground through river rapids.

This is highlighted with an elaborate acid etched gold gilt border.

Perry worked at Royal Doulton between 1926 and 1947. Markings to the base would indicate a production date of 1943.

Condition Report

It is in very good condition for it\'s vintage with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration.

There are some scratches to the surface, located to the rocks in the foreground and overhanging branches. Despite these very minor flaws I hope that you can see that they do not significantly affect the display of the plate and that it would make a superb addition to your collection.

Any white marks to the item in the photos are as a result of light reflection.

Signed by the artist and stamped to the basewiththe Royal Doulton Lion England mark, as well as the pattern number etc (as shown in the attached photograph for your reference).

We prefer payment by Paypal but will accept payments drawn on a UK bank account in Sterling if made by prior arrangement. We will not charge you a fee if you choose to pay by paypal.

Packing

All our items are packed securely, with a combination of chippings and bubble wrap to ensure safe delivery.

Overseas Combined Shipping

We will always combine shipping for multiple purchases to give you the cheapest possible delivery costs. Packages weighing up to 2kg will be sent via Royal Mail. Packages in excess of 2kg may be sent by courier if this is more cost effective for you.

If you have purchased multiple lots please wait for an invoice before making your payment.
