For your consideration we offer a very rare & beautiful Royal Doulton Figurine \"Sweet and Twenty\". The Title of this Figurine is taken from the song O Mistress Mine! From Shakespeare,s Twelfth Night. \"Then come kiss me, sweet and twenty, Youth\'s a stuff will not endure.\" The Figurine is of Fine English Bone China & is entirely hand made & hand painted by Artisans at the Royal Doulton Art Pottery Studio\'s. The piece is marked on the bottom with the Royal Doulton Lion & Crown Mark. It stands 6\" tall at the ladies head and is 6\" long from side to side. This figurine came in a couple of different colorways, and this version is one of the most beautiful.
Sweet and Twenty was designed by Leslie Haradine. She was in production from 1934 to 1949. She is sculpted in Fine English Bone China & entirely Hand Painted by one of the Royal Doulton Artisans. There are no chips, cracks nor repairs. She is in Prime condition for a Figure of her age and antiquity. Her decoration is very fine & looks like the quality of fine Art Pottery from only the Doulton Studio\'s traditionally. Must see in person to fully appreciate.
