This particular piece has no \"D\" number on the bottom - - just the special logo \"Royal Doulton England and the \"Gallant Fishers\". The series was first introduced in 1906 but there\'s no date of withdrawal. Safe to say it\'s about 75 - 100 years old. The saying going around the inside of the rim is \"Of recreation there is none so free as fishing is alone\". The \"is alone\" is a bit faded as I explained in the condition section. Otherwise - a GREAT piece of Doulton.
Colors are very clear and vibrant.
